She received her BA from Birmingham Southern College and her JD from the University of Alabama School of Law. Practice Areas: She is a partner in the Firm and actively engaged in defending medical malpractice cases, insurance litigation, family law and litigation, premises liability litigation, workers' compensation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, products liability, nursing home litigation, and professional liability cases. Professional Profile: Anna Katherine is a member of the Alabama State Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Alabama Defense Lawyers, and Young Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar. She served as Vice President Public Service for the Young Lawyers Section of the Birmingham Bar Association, President of the Young Lawyers Section, and has served on a number of committees for both the local and state bar. She was elected to the Birmingham Bar Association Executive Committee (2008-2011) and is a Trustee for the Legal Aid Board, serving as Vice President in 2008 and President in 2009. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama as well as U.S. Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
