Practice Areas: He is a senior partner in the Firm and is actively engaged in defending medical malpractice cases, product liability actions, professional errors and omissions, and other complex litigation. In his career he has tried over 100 jury trials to conclusion throughout Alabama in both state and federal courts. Professional Profile: Stan is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Birmingham Bar Association and the American Bar Association. On the Bar level, he has served on many committees, including the Executive Committee. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association; having served the organization as its president. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. Stan is a frequent lecturer at CLE seminars, especially on medical malpractice and product liability issues. In 2000, he authored the Alabama chapter of the Defense Research Institute’s Product Liability Defenses; A State by State Compendium. Stan is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America," Best of the Bar, and the recently published Alabama Super Lawyers.
