Education:
William Gantt received his undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and named a recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for his graduating class. He attended the University's School of Law from which he received his Juris Doctor. Since graduation from law school, he has practiced in Birmingham. Practice Areas: William's practice includes general liability, workers' compensation, employment disputes, insurance coverage disputes, product liability, premises liability, general tort, personal injury litigation, nursing home litigation, automotive accident defense, and other complex litigation. Professional Profile: He is a member of the American Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Association, and is also active in the Birmingham Bar Association. He is a frequent writer for the ADDENDUM and the ALABAMA LAWYER, two statewide publications of the Alabama Bar. William is admitted to practice in all federal jurisdictions in the State of Alabama and the Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyer's Association and the Defense Research Institute. In addition, he is the Alabama Director of the Southern Literary Trail, a volunteer organization supported by the Alabama Humanities Foundation. |
