Education:
Paul Malek received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law. Practice Areas: Paul is a partner in the Firm. His litigation practice focuses on the defense of product liability actions, medical malpractice related claims, labor and employment matters, litigation consulting for business and commercial transactions, and other general litigation matters. He has successfully tried cases to conclusion in both state and federal court and has handled litigation for Fortune 500 clients in many states throughout the southeast. In addition, he also serves as coordinating counsel in specialty litigation on both a national and regional basis. Professional Profile: He is an active member of the Alabama State Bar Association and the Kentucky State Bar Association. Paul is also licensed to practice in all federal courts within Alabama as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He has served as a faculty member for the Alabama Bar Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ABICLE), lecturing on real estate issues, and is active with his memberships in the Birmingham Bar Association (BBA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA) and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). |
